Kristina's partner of 11 years, David Day, as in a serious auto accident October 2. He had a driving seizure caused by a malignant brain tumor that had spread from a lung cancer. He was hospitalized at OHSU for 12 days and was treated for multiple fractures and with removal of the of the brain tumor. He has been recovering t home since November 2 and will start brain radiation this week and chemotherapy soon. Kristina lost 2 weeks of work and has increased slowly to only 75% of her usual schedule. She loses many additional hours with David's frequent medical visits.
