Hal Barwood, Chairperson, has lived @ The Vaux for 18 years and is grateful for the chance to serve the community he loves. He’s a writer and designer by trade, with experience in movies, video games, and books. You can find out all about him @ his website, finitearts.com.
Paul Block, Vice-Chairperson, is a retired talent agent, talent coordinator and segment producer (for the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson), a TV producer, and executive producer. He lives at The Vaux with his wife Gila Lane (of the nearby Lane Gallery).
Joe McAvoy, Secretary, has lived in The Vaux since 2019 with his wife, Kyle, and English Lab, Rosie. He worked thirty plus years in corporate management and executive roles within the High Tech industry and is now a writer. Joe loves the Slabtown District and The Vaux Condominiums. and feels a sense of obligation to participate in their well-being.

Diana Drew-Fleming, Director, is a transplanted East Coaster, along with her husband Ron Fleming. After leaving New York City they spent time in Bend Oregon before settling at The Vaux in beautiful NW Portland. Diana brings her experience as a board member of several HOAs as well as numerous charitable organizations.
