Savier Street Flats Breaks Ground

2/20/11 – The Con-way parking lot @ 23rd & Savier is no more. After months of delays, Mill Creek Residential Trust (the successor company to Trammell Crow Residential, which built The Vaux) has broken ground on its new apartment complex, to be known as Savier Street Flats. When completed, it will offer 179 mostly studio and one-bedroom units, plus a few larger two-bedroom apartments, and more than 6000 square feet of retail space on 23rd Avenue.

Unlike The Vaux, the new buildings won't have parking for all units, but they will have things we lack: fitness and social centers. Construction is expected to take a year and finish in early 2013.
