06/14/19 – Condominium law in Oregon (and elsewhere) has at least one puzzling feature: if no unit owner can be identified as the cause of damage to another unit, then the costs of repair fall upon the owner of the damaged property. The long and short of this is — even when the cause stems from a common element, the condo association is not responsible.
