The new “Hide-a-key” boards have been installed and are ready for use by residents. This was one of the minor improvement suggestions voted on by the owners and approved by the Board. Here’s what you need to do to use the board and register your location. It is NOT required to use the board, but is there if you voluntarily choose to use it and accept your own risk for its use.
1. Use your own wall mount combination lock box that will fit a 6”x6” square.
2. Install the box on the board located in the trash chute room on your floor, centered in any open square. Use ¾ inch to 1 inch wood screws (nothing longer). If you are not able to install the box yourself, you can have Tross (Kin’s maintenance arm) do it for you for a small cost. 3. Complete the lock box location registration form. Enter your name, unit number, email address, and utilize the drop down menus to identify your box location used by selecting building, floor, column and row. That’s all there is to it. The information is only available to the Management Company.
