Gating First Floor Deck Access

10/02/12 – Most of The Vaux's residents live within a gated community, but nineteen first-floor units face the public sidewalk with street access. A few owners have now installed gates on their patios to provide what architects call "defensive space" and discourage unwanted visitors, solicitors, and crazies.
