Awaiting Courtyard Drain Repairs

08/01/14 – The Vaux was built at the height of the housing boom frenzy, and not everything was constructed exactly according to plan. In particular, courtyard drainage was left unfinished, with the evidence of neglect buried under a few feet of soil.

Now, during heavy rain, the courtyard has started to resemble a wading pool, and action is required. The Board of Directors is awaiting bids to make permanent repairs. When the work starts, be prepared to see the courtyard torn up for a while. We'll all be thankful next winter.

UPDATE: 09/04/14 – Drain repairs have been completed.
