Applying Graffiti Protection

07/12/12 – Today workers from Proclean applied sealant to the exterior concrete surfaces of The Vaux in order to guard against defacement by vandals with their spray cans, oversize magic markers, and a misplaced love of graffiti art. The sealant won't actually repel those ugly "tags," but it will make it possible to completely remove them when an incident occurs. The work has been planned for months, but clear warm air is required for the sealant to dry properly. The weather finally cooperated, and just in time, it appears: last week we did suffer a minor graffiti attack on the garage air vent, since expunged.
