The Vaux has limited opportunities to enhance the amenity offerings to enhance the community experience as well adding to the sale value of our condo units. The following have been great addition to the Vaux: Multiple fiber providers that provide competition and choice to residents, High definition security cameras (4k), incredible landscaping and the future upgrade to our access control system......here are some other ideas that I think would enhance our community as well as add resale value...what do you think?

Hi Matt - Thanks for the suggestions. Here are my initial reactions. For the dog washing station - nice idea since we have many dog owners here (I'm not one of them). For the EV charging stations - I think we should move forward with putting in the infrastructure (power wiring) so that we can add the actual charge station quickly when someone buys an EV. It is only a matter of time when we start having owners with EVs. Package lockers outdoors - OK as long as there is a way to make them visually attractive. Our exterior is so nice now that we should not detract from that if possible. Rental storage lockers - OK overall. On the plus side, they would provide extra storage space for those who need it and are more visible in case some bad actor tries to break into one. On the minus side, they are not as well protected as current lockers which take a fob to enter the storage area, and some of the lockers in the current garage storage room look kind of junky. For all of these ideas, we'd need to consider the costs, of course.

@shjcolo great comments.....dog washing station ($3k ish) low hanging fruit since we have drain and plumbing in garage by restroom.....on EV stations ($15k ish for dual ports), agree...and since COA can set pricing on EV charging, it can payback.....package lockers ($30k) can look good, nice design and enclosure...rental storage lockers ($19k) could go in the cart rooms and when access controls updated rooms could have FOB access so secure (and at $50 rental fee 4 year payback).....realize we are not going to all tomorrow, but would Vaux have target amenity list - and budget for upgrades over a few years....say $15k per year for 4 or 5 years....
@Matt Spathas Storage lockers seem like a great idea. Unused space gets utilized, adds to the marketability of the property, residents who rent benefit, project pays for itself, and it eventually generates revenue for the HOA. Nice if this could be nudged forward in lieu of any better propositions. Thanks.
