Windows and Screens

12/08/2011 – During the fall CMI conducted an owner survey to help assess the condition of our condos. In response, several owners reported drafty windows. The Vaux structure is nearly hermetic, yet it is important that fresh air circulate within units. For this reason, window seals were deliberately not made perfectly airtight. But seals might also be misaligned or missing altogether. If you think your windows are leaking a lot more air than they should, please contact CMI.

NOTE: Window screens are common elements owned by the Association. If you notice damage (accidentally caused by the window washing crew, say) please notify CMI. They will collect the information and attempt to make batch repairs.

Keeping Clean in Mud and Snow

12/08/2011 – Winter and rough weather are upon us. Soggy leaves, water, and mud try hard to follow us home, and that means a lot of extra work for our Onsite Porter, Kathy Sweet. Please help her by cleaning up your feet and your pets before entering the buildings.
